AFFORDABLE SINGLE LEVEL HOMES

ECOTECH specialises in suppling high-quality affordable homes that meets Kiwibuild’s very tight pricing requirements. Our low cost, certainty of price and speed of delivery makes ECOTECH a market leader in this critical and rapidly growing market.

Our single level homes are constructed from modules with the same external dimensions of standard shipping containers. This significantlyreduces shipping and logistics costs by

  • Accessing standard container shipping rates (vs more expensive break bulk rates)

  • Utilising standard low-cost container trucks

  • Avoiding the need for pilot vehicles

  • Reducing traffic management costs

  • Providing easier access sites with poor or difficult road access

  • Reducing the size of the crane needed on site 

Once on site, the modules are then joined together using factory supplied external flashings to create a fully weathertight building envelope within hours of delivery.

 

MULTI-POD 67

The MULTI-POD 67 is one of our most popular plans as it offers generous living, with the 67m2 floor plan allowing larger bedrooms and more open spaces. The plans are built from two easy to ship modules:

  • One 2.4m wide x 12.2m long (standard container dimensions)

  • One 3.1m wide x 12.2m long (2.4m wide & 3.1m wide), that are joined together on site.

For projects with difficult road access or sites that are a long way from a seaport (such as Queenstown), the MULTI-POD 67 is a very good option as the narrower modules are easier to transport.

The MULTI-POD 67 can be deployed either as a standalone home or in a Duplex configuration with the addition of a factory supplied 60 minute fire rated inter-tenancy wall. Factory supplied roof eves can be added to increase the footprint of the module for additional rainwater collection. Assembly on site takes approx. 3 – 5 days.

This plan is MultiProofed and can be delivered to HomeStar 6.

 

MULTI-POD 75

Our MultiPod 75 is a simple to assemble, 2-bedroom, 2 Bathroom 75m2 home.  It has a generous open plan living and expansive full height opening doors and windows that allow the deck area to become part of the living space.

It is constructed from three modules:

  • Two modules that are 2.4m wide x 12.2m long (standard container dimensions)

  • One module that is 2.4m wide x 6.1m long (standard container dimensions), that are joined together on site.

For projects with difficult road access or sites that are a long way from a seaport (such as Queenstown), the MULTI-POD 75 is a very good option as the narrower modules are easier to transport.

MULTI-POD 105

Our MultiPod 105 is a simple to assemble, 3-bedroom, 2 Bathroom 105m2 home.  It has a generous 54m2 open plan living and expansive full height opening doors and windows that allow the deck area to become part of the living space. There are no hallways, so every square millimetre of space is useable.

It is constructed from fourmodules:

  • Three modules that are 2.4m wide x 12.2m long (standard container dimensions)

  • One module that is 2.4m wide x 6.1m long (standard container dimensions), that are joined together on site. s.
